NEW Tour Alert: Evening Waterfall Hike & Stegastein Viewpoint - daily departures throughout the summer

This summer, we are excited to offer a new addition to our daily departures. Our Evening Waterfall Hike & Stegastein Viewpoint tour is now available daily in July and August, providing a tour that combines hiking, waterfalls, and beautiful views.

What to Expect

A 3-hour guided tour that begins with a scenic 15-minute drive from Flåm to Aurland. From there, you'll hike along an old farm path leading to the Turlidfossen waterfall. During spring and summer months, Turlidfossen is especially strong due to the water flowing through the river is fed by melting ice and snow. Approaching the waterfall, you might get a misty shower!

After returning to the trailhead, the trip doesn´t end here. From this point on we travel up towards the popular view point of Stegastein. Stegastein is placed 650 meters above the sea level, where the scenic views of the fjords opens to you.

Why an evening tour?

During the peak of summer Stegastein is incredibly busy, and the drive up the mountain both slow and tricky. Coming to Stegastein later in the afternoon/early evening leaves us with a lot fewer visitors and beautiful lights over the fjord views.
