  • Most of our tours start in Flåm, but some of them start in Aurland. The villages are within 10 minute drive from oneanother.

  • ou can simply walk. We are located less than 5 minutes of walking away from the cruise pier.

    Just walk towards Flåm railway station & the museum and you will see a white building right next to the water.

  • Yes you can. It will only get wet if its raining and not by spray from the fjord. You can always bring a drybag for it or keep it inside your provided flotation suit.

  • You have to dress for the season and depending on the current weather and which tour you are taking. Even in the summer going on our boat tour can be quite cold. We recommend you to dress warm for all seasons but especially during winter.

    For our hiking tours in the summer, THIS is what we recommend wearing.

    For our boat tours: Imagine driving in a car that is going 60 km/h (40mph) and sticking your hand out the window for 2 hours. Even in the summer this can be a cold experience. We recommend you to dress warm for all seasons but especially during winter

  • We do allow our guests to store their bags (smaller items) at our location in safe lockers. It is free of charge. For larger items we recommend using the luggage storage service at the train station.

  • On all boat tours it is required to arrive for check in 20 minutes before departure (30 minutes before departure time during the winter).

    This is for dressing you up, signing in to our passenger list and giving you a mandatory safety briefing before departure.

    For hikes or customized tours, you should be there on the time agreed on when making the reservation.

  • We do not have an age limit on most of our tours, but we do however recommend our winter visitors to not bring very small children on the tour, as they can get quite cold (recommended 6 years and above).

    Some land based tours have age limits, see each tour description for details.

    Infants (0-2 years old) can join for free on parents lap on our boat tours and do not need a ticket. However, please add a comment (with age) in your reservation if you are bringing an infant so we can be prepared with the correct clothing and safety equipment.

    Regarding clothing and sizes; we have suits and clothing ranging from small baby sizes to very big XXL sizes.

  • Safety is our number one priority on our tours. You will be wearing a full flotation body suit in addition to a life jacket. There will be a safety briefing before the tour.

    In our 22 years of business, we have never had anyone fall in the water. Our tours are very safe and emergency and first-aid equipment is always brought on both boat rides and guided hikes.

  • We try to be very flexible regarding changes, so you are always welcome to contact us to check possibilities. We can however not guarantee that the new requested departure time or date have availability.

  • Our tours will still go if it is raining. You will be wearing protective clothing to keep you warm and dry. We only cancel the tours when the weather conditions are a safety concern.
